Surebet Dutcher
Some times we come across a race where we can only see 3 or 4 horses with any
serious chance of winning and instead of doing a place bet on one of the horses it is
better to back all of them as win bets. It is possible to back all of our selected horses
and win the same amount whichever horse wins. Here is how it works:
Lets say we have Three horses in the race that we want to back.....
Horse 1 @ odds of 2.0
Horse 2 @ odds of 5.0
Horse 3 @ odds of 7.5
and our total stake is £100.
Next open up the aribitrage calculator which can be found at:
www.arbitage-calculator.com
Place the odds of the three horses in the left hand column and press calculate. You can
see from the example above that if any of the horses win we would gain £20 on our
£100 investment (20%)
We would have staked:
Horse 1 = £60
Horse 2 = £24
Horse 3 = £16
Sometimes we may fancy one of the horses to win a lot more than the others. In this
case we may advise you to have all the potential profit accumulated on one horse with
the other two as savers should it get beaten. Simply select a bias on Bet 1 and the
calculator will tell you what to stake on each selection.
In this situation we win £33.34 profit or get our money back if any of the other two
horses win the race.
